Helpful Tips:
Be sure to check in at the registration desk on race day. You will get an athlete card that you will hand to referees before your race begins. This card will also show the number of the machine on which you will race.
You are free to use the ergs in the designated warmup area anytime prior to your event.
Know your race start time. Be at the entrance to the competition area at least 5 minutes prior to your race. If you are late, you may miss your event.
Do not enter the competition area until instructed to do so by a referee or race volunteer.
Each athlete can have one coach or coxswain in the chair behind them on the competition floor. This is not required.
On your race erg, prior to the start, you can warm up until the monitor instructs you to stop.
Also, you can adjust the drag factor using the damper lever on the side of the flywheel. However, you cannot adjust this setting once the race begins.
At the end of racing, referees will confirm that the race was fair and all data was captured. Please do not leave your machine until you have been given the ok to do so.
